Charles Gray
SINGER ACTOR SONGWRITER PERFORMER
Music has been at the forefront of my entire career. It is my motivator and primary means of expressing my most intimate thoughts and feelings. 2020 made me realize with a new found urgency, that time waits for no one and I needed to get back to the task of creating. My first project was a series of covers that I produced from my home. They are called Karaoke Chronicles and can be found on YouTube. Having to learn videography, editing, as well as producing the tracks freed me and made me want to do more. So my next project was a cover of “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Elvis. It’s a fun dance version of an old standard ballad.
This summer, in an effort to create something joyful, I decided to write some Christmas music. Initially I was simply tryin to write a duet to sing with a friend and ended up with an entire albums worth of material. By the time I was able to get to a studio it was too late to finish the project before the holidays. So I decided to put out a single “Dashing” for now and will follow up with the complete album next year. In the meantime I’m still performing. January and February will find me in Hilton Head South Carolina doing a production of FENCES. If you happen to be in town stop on by!"

I was thrilled to be asked to voice this powerful and engaging story.
